Tip #1
- Put your resume in ASCII format. It is better & faster to
post it on websites than to put a hard copy in the mail.
Tip #2
- If you are an executive or director - negotiate for a written
contract with stock option and early termination clauses, when
possible.
Tip #3 - If certain companies
are on your list - go to their websites and apply for a job directly
on their website. Also, do the same for special skills you have.
I.E., Check out your association job's databank or the database
vendor's job board.
Tip #4 - Keep a positive attitude
- a "can do" attitude. There are many jobs out there.
It could take time and will take perservance to locate a good
job. A healthy, positive attitude is good for you and your family!
Take short breaks - get refreshed - and have a fun time in this
new chapter of your life!
